The name is pretty much a giveaway here: the Daily Plan section lets you plan and organize what is on your agenda for a day. So you can write whatever ideas come to your head without worrying about organizing them. One of the best things about Chaos Box is that there is no specific structure or theme that you need to follow to add your inputs. IMAGE: Chaos Controlīasically, the idea behind Chaos Box is to quickly collect your thoughts and ideas into a loosely defined buffer and then move them into other sections as your ideas solidify. And once that is done, you can then clear out the entries in Chaos Box to stay organized. You can use this to jot down all the incoming thoughts in your head, which you can then process later while organizing a task or a project. Chaos BoxĬhaos Box is a section on Chaos Control where all your prompt ideas, thoughts, notes reside. Let’s take a closer look at these so you can put them to use effectively. Essentially, there are four sections on the app: Chaos Box, Daily Plan, Projects, and Contexts. Chaos Control FeaturesĬhaos Control contains a similar set of functionalities on both its computer and mobile apps. Each objective can be viewed as a Project on Chaos Control and can be attributed to a combination of goals and actions. Basically, the purpose is to prioritize goals before trying to accomplish them. To reiterate, Chaos Control is derived from the GTD methodology, the idea behind which is to move all of your projects, tasks, and relevant information out of your head into a system that helps streamline your actions and undermines any sense of disarray. The seven steps to achieving your goals with GTD are: By focusing on goals, rather than tasks, Allen’s system helps people accomplish what they want to get done in life, rather than spending time on what they don’t want to do. It has gained popularity over the past few years and many people have adopted this methodology. GTD or Getting Things Done is a time management system that was created by David Allen. Chaos Control is available for all major platforms: macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS. Using it, you can manage your goals and plan your actions accordingly in both your professional and personal life. The dance sequences in this movie also promise to be bigger and more elaborate than in Magic Mike or Magic Mike XXL, with Tatum claiming that he wants this closing chapter to be the "Super Bowl of stripper movies" with "some of the most premiere, sickest dancers you could possibly find in the world performing," inspired by the bombast and athleticism of the smash hit Magic Mike live show. His co-star in Magic Mike's Last Dance, Salma Hayek Pinault, recently described one of their early scenes together-the moment where he gives her a lap dance, as hinted at in the trailer-as "very physically challenging." While this will be music to the ears of thirsty fans of the crowd-pleasing stripper franchise, there's a function to Tatum's fitness. This includes both spells that can be cast for free and spells that use charges from an item. Here are a couple rules to keep in mind: Druids cannot cast spells while in their beast form, even spells that are granted by magic items. In such traditions, humans change into vampires, werewolves, frogs, insects, and just any about any other creature imaginable and back again. And in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Tatum revealed that he will be showing off an even more impressive physique than ever before, noting that he got into "the best shape of my entire life" for the movie. Magic items dont always interact nicely with the druids Wild Shape. Shapeshifters are found in most mythologies and folk traditions around the world from ancient to modern times. Star Wars is one of my favorite settings of all times. The zoomed-in live map is too zoomed-in, making it hard to get your bearings, while the large overmap lacks essential detail. Speaking of menus, both of the maps in the game are pretty useless. The inventory menu is a bit of a mess - once it fills up it can take ages to scroll to the weapon or health potion you want - but otherwise this is a solidly structured RPG. You can also acquire new weapons and armour at shops or through good old dungeon-crawling, and imbue your blades with extra abilities using special gems. You can attribute skill points to a number of areas as you level-up, allowing you to specialise in ranged, melee, or magical combat, as well as improving your athleticism (there's a dedicated 'jump' button here, oddly) and even stealth abilities. While Ravensword: Shadowlands won't be challenging any of the top console RPGs for depth, it does represent a solid step forward. The first game took a bit of flak for being a bit too light on the RPG mechanic. Meanwhile, on the flip side of the coin, the AI is so dumb that it's often possible to jam certain tough enemies on the other side of a tree or rock while you either heal or ping fireballs or arrows at them. And having to lift your finger off the 'attack' buttons to constantly modify your view can be maddening. Switching between ranged and melee weapons on the fly can be really fiddly in pressure situations such as this, where you're forced to back off and launch the odd attack when you can. Get attacked by two swift-moving sword-wielders at once and it can be impossible to get off a shot, with each nimble strike tying you up for a second - just enough time for the other attacker to get in his own jab. The trouble is, in tight corners and tricky situations it's both frustratingly punishing and ridiculously easy. Engaging enemies one-on-one is a pretty basic case of tapping the virtual 'attack' button when in range, although the need to block from time to time does add a certain depth. Ravensword: Shadowlands's combat is its key weakness. You'll eat automatically, so it feels a little pointless, but it's evidently an incentive to keep swinging your axe, sword, hammer, or whatever. These also yield up food for your hero to live off. You can even go hunting, with each area containing its own unique wildlife, including boar, wolf-like wargs, and towering rhino-like creatures, to name just a few. Other areas of the world are free for you to explore as you wish, and these are useful for levelling your hero up, acquiring valuable loot to sell or equip, and completing the many optional side-quests you're given. This entails chasing up a bunch of Ravenstones in order to obtain the legendary Ravensword so that you can use it to, well, you know the score. Some of these are mission-critical, as you follow the game's predictable fantasy story. Crescent Moon offers you a world comprising a bunch of decent-sized hubs, cities, villages, and caves. This is as big and open an RPG as you're likely to get on iOS. The follow-up is an altogether more seasoned, capable traveller, but it still has a few character flaws that cost it a little come the final reckoning. Ravensword: The Fallen King was a noble yet flawed game, notable for its charm and its adventurous spirit, but held back from achieving its full potential by a critical lack of intelligence and depth.Īfter an epic three-year gap, the series is back in the form of Ravenswood: Shadowlands. |
